1st Lesson from My First Golf Mentor

Recently finally had the time to start a mythic quest!  I am currently about a 22 handicap as a golfer.  Now I am questing to go from there to a scratch golfer, your welcome to join me for the trip.

I will be enlisting great coaches online and offline and sharing the lessons I learn.

My golf mentor Bob has been a professional for decades and is one of the best teachers I know.  He has been giving me some coaching to get started.

First Two Things to Work on For Me:

I have always had a bit of 'short man's decease' and thus it is no surprise to me that I swing fast and that may have effected my balance.  So, the first matter for me is to work on my balance.  I am making a point now at the range to hold my balance after the shot to build better habits.

Pre-Shot Routine

Next turns out I have a hurried approach.  So he has me, taking a few extra seconds before each shot, being more cautious to line up properly, and to visualize the shot.

If these are helpful great!  Good luck out there!

FotoPro uFO 2 – Flexible Mobile Tripod – Product Review

Hey Gang,

My family and I just purchased a new tripod and I am glad to say it worked out great.  However I have definitely had my share of purchases that I regret so I wanted to provide a review to anyone looking at this purchase.

Good feel, solid and sturdy.  Not something that you are going to be bothered when caring by hand or in a backpack but doesn't feel like it is going to break.

My favorite part is the style of legs and how well they grip on poles trees and most any other place you might want to mount a camera.  Almost no movement after mounting.  You can film from about anywhere.

By comparison, the ball and joint style, if the pole or mounting point is too small it can cause difficulty mounting properly.

I don't have a large camera that I needed to mount so if you need something larger this probably isn't a fit but if you are using a GoPro, iPhone, Android, or small 1-3 lbs camera it proved to me to be plenty strong.

Phone Clip

My biggest downside is the phone clip.  It is not that it is worse then other's that I have seen it just isn't better.  My complain is with just about all of them. There is mostly plastic in the clip.  I will never get why they don't offer these clips with metal.  As far as plastic can be the mechanism works well.

This is the biggest plus for me.  I was about to purchase the JOBY Gorilla Tripod set, which is similar but has the ball legs instead the design on the uFO 2.  And you can buy 2.5 of the uFO 2 for the same price as the other premier competitor.

If you need a tripod this is a great option for a very reasonable price tag.

Blog Post Title

What goes into a blog post? Helpful, industry-specific content that: 1) gives readers a useful takeaway, and 2) shows you’re an industry expert.

Use your company’s blog posts to opine on current industry topics, humanize your company, and show how your products and services can help people.

I once heard a business speaker named Claude Hamilton talk about flying out to another part of his nation and filling sand bags to help ward off an oncoming flood, and he described as,” a cool man thing to do”.  That phrase has stuck with me, and I wanted to post some of the things I consider cool man things to do”

Its a cool man thing to do:

When you work your ass off for the family you have pledge yourself too.

When you do what you said you were going to do

When you stood firm for the faith you believe to be True

When you appreciate all that has been given you, but not be complacent when you’ve been called        to more

When you make better decisions because people are following you

When you listen to someone who you care about and seek first to understand

When you humbly kneel before God
